Donald Switzenberg
I've "rescued" an old photograph of Donald SWITZENBERG which was taken in the early 1900's when Donald was just an infant. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding Donald and his family:
Donald F. SWITZENBERG was b. 19 Feb 1909 in Allegan, MI to parents Fred W. SWITZENBERG (1880-1960) and Edith Mary WISE (1877-1946). Donald had one sister, Katherine Mary SWITZENBERG (1916-2006). Donald died 9 Feb 1979 in Lansing or Meridian, MI and is buried in the Oakwood Cemetery in Allegan, MI. Donald was a Biologist with the Michigan Dept. of Natural Resources and the director of the Cusino Wildlife Experiment Station in the Upper Peninsula until he retired in 1962. His obit noted his surviving sister as Katherine MILESKI and her husband Leo MILESKI. Nieces and nephews are noted as Kayelee and Bruce STEUDER and Mary and David DANDURAND.
Census records provide the following details:
