This is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Fancois X. Rachal. The family had moved to New Orleans in 1922, and this photo was taken in the early 1950's. Dr. Rachal was an alumnus of Xavier University, and did his post graduate work and medical studies at Howard and Catholic University in the East. He was an professor for a time at Xavier University in New Orleans, and went on to serve in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was the youngest of 14 children. Dr. Rachal had busy practice in New Jersey and was on the staff at Pomona State Hospital in California. He had one daughter and 3 grand children.
