Eleanor Romberg was the wife of Haakon Romberg, and the mother of Harold Romberg. They lived in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. She was warm and friendly and always welcomed me into their home. Their son Harold was my twin brother Stewart's buddy, and I dated Harold as a teenager. Eleanor was close with my mother Grace Karlsen. Both Harold and I had a father named Haakon.
