ELMER PIERCE OBITUARY
For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Phillipians 1:21. Heaven’s gate opened and welcomed him in. On January 24th, 2021, Elmer Snow Pierce departed this life and went to his eternal home. He forever joined the love of his life Martha and grandson, Jacob “Snowbird”. Elmer was born on November 18th, 1927 in Boswell, Oklahoma. He spent his childhood years in Boswell and then served in the United States Army and was one of the few remaining World War II Veterans.

Elmer married the love of his life, Martha on June 11th, 1948. They lived in Oklahoma City for a time where he worked at Capital Steel and Iron. Upon returning to Boswell he owned and operated a service station with his brother Pat. He was also the proud owner of E & M carwash for many years. He drove the bus and was a truancy officer for Boswell Public School until he retired. Elmer considered going to church at the Jesus Name Pentecostal Church where he served as an elder, as of utmost importance to him. He spent many hours on his John Deere tractor taking care of his farm. Elmer loved his cattle and horses. On any given morning you could find him at the coffee shop enjoying coffee and conversation with his friends. He loved to eat out especially at the Fish Fry and Dixie Café.

Debby Stevens
I'm a Christian, and I'm a daughter of Allan B. Holbrook, now in heaven. My married name is Debby Stevens.
My parents, Allan and Marie, were devout Christians, and had 10 children. They were both school teachers, but Mom quit teaching at public school after marriage. But both Mom and Dad home-schooled us all - starting when I was in 1st grade - that's when they came to the decision to home-school us. Dad earned an income through being an English teacher here in Traverse City, for man years. Dad started some Bible meetings that took place in the homes of friends of ours and in our own. He was the main teacher in it, and it was in a discoursing style - he would talk about spiritual things with the fathers of the families, each time, and all the children of the families would sit and listen to it all.
