Frank Lawrence Travis
I have an old studio photograph of Frank L. TRAVIS which was taken at the Loveday Studio in Chicago, IL sometime in the 1880's when Frank was about one year old. Frank is identified as "Uncle" on the back of the photograph as well. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Frank and his family:

Frank Lawrence TRAVIS was b. 14 Aug 1884 in Cicero, IL to parents John TRAVIS (1829-1903) and Mary PECK or PROCHASKA (1850-1927). Frank was one of three children born to this couple including siblings John G. TRAVIS (1873 or 1875-1958) and Harry Alfred TRAVIS (1890-1952). Frank’s father was married previously to Caroline REEVES (1830-1881) who he married in 1853 and had two additional children including Sarah “Sadie” TRAVIS WATKINS (1856-1903) and Amanda TRAVIS SELLERS (1860-1936). Frank died 25 Apr 1968 in Illinois and is buried in the Rosehill Cemetery and Mausoleum in Chicago, IL. Frank’s brothers John and Harry A. TRAVIS are also buried in the same cemetery in Chicago as are his parents.

I would love to get this treasure back to family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this TRAVIS Family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
