Frederick Wempworth Watson was the son of Elgin and Catherine (McFarlane) Watson and the Grandson of James and Mary A. Watson. Frederick was born in Birtle, Manitoba in 1894. He was married to Jean Sutherland MacKay and they had one living daughter, Freda Jean Watson. Freda married Harold Rodgerson Hopper. At the time of her death in 2014 at the age of 92, Freda had 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
