Eva Wickenberg's birth name was Eva Hourigan. her father was of Irish decent, by the name of John Hourigan, her mother died giveing her birth , she was of german decent. She spent most of her young life in a convent, working as a maid and laundry woman. she met and married George Wickenberg at age 19. She had 1 boy and 3 daughters, who she tried to bring up during the depression alone because George her husband and my grandfather spent alot of time in prison. She took in laundry to buy food, and struggled to keep a roof over their heads
