George Joseph Boedigheimer

I have an old studio photograph of George BOEDIGHEIMER which was taken at the Trover - Weigel Studio in Salem, OR in the early 1900's. George appears to be in his teens or 20's at the time the photograph was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding George and his family:

George Joseph BOEDIGHEIMER was b. 1 Dec 1892 in Sublimity, OR to parents Bruno George BOEDIGHEIMER (1867-1950) and Kathrine or Catherina or Catherine or Katherine “Kate” L. FESSLER (1866-1957) who were married 29 Sept 1887 in Mt. Angel, OR. George was one of 12 children born to this couple including Otilda or Otillia “Otilly” or “Tilly” Maria; Henry Martin or Minrod; Emma Elizabeth; George Joseph; Albert Ignatz or Ignatzius; Mary Theresa; Julia Mary; Agnes Helen; Maggie; William Stephen or Steven; Elizabeth “Lizzie” Rosemary or Rose or Rosaina; and Carolyn or Caroline or Carolina Ann or Anne or Anna BOEDIGHEIMER, all born between 1888 and 1910.

George was married twice, first to Leona Amanda FRANK (1899-1932) who he married on 8 Jan 1918 in Marion County, OR and together they had a son, Cletus Adair BOEDIGHEIMER (1919-1995) and a daughter Mary J. BOEDIGHEIMER (b. 1928). His second marriage was to Norma Desmore CLARKE (1914-1988) who he married on 19 Jan 1936 in Marion County, OR after the death of his first wife. George died 26 Oct 1985 in Salem, OR and he is buried in the Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery in Stayton, OR.
