I wonder why. Thankfully it morphed so boys would look like boys. In the UK, little boys are still dressed frilly. I have 2 sons & they always looked like males. They're 40 & 35 now.

My dad was born in 1913. At one time he had long curls. When they were cut off they saved them, and I still have them!

He had 2 children. His daughter died in New Zealand in 2000. His son died around age 20 in 1940. Apparently the son was a Sgt in some branch of the military in England and died during a flying accident....
