Harold V Carroll spent time in either the Springburn or Woodside Hospital in Glasgow Scotland during World War 1. My Grandmother, Maggie was a VAD at the hospitals and had an album that the injured soldiers would write in. This is the page in the Album that Harold left his thoughts on. I thought his family would be interested. When I checked his war papers I could not find details of the time he spent in Scotland.

Thia is my great grandmother Mary Todd Jackson, born to a Barbara Clark in Paisley in 1855 - no birth certificate. Unable to trace her parents. Andrew Jackson is named as father on marriage cert and Barbara Clark is her mother. Wondering if the Todd family can throw some light on where she came from as her middle name is Todd. Does anyone recognize this face or have any similar photos in their tree?
