Grace Tindel and Guy Edward Brownlow
Guy Edward Brownlow married Grace Elaine Tindel on Nov. 7, 1931, in Eldorado, OK. Guy Edward's parents were Edward Isaac Brownlow and Elvira Elizabeth Skipper. He was one of 24 children from his father's 2 marriages. He was the last one to die of the children. He and Grace had two children, Judy Sharon, and Gary Edward. They lived for a number of years in Eldorado, OK, and then New Deal, TX, and Abernathy, TX. They retired to Conroe, TX, near their children. Grace b. Oct 31, 1913, died Aug 6, 1994, of pneumonia. Guy b. Jan 9, 1904, in Blackjack, Henderson County, TX, died July 11, 1995, in Harris County, Texas, at 91 years old. They were Baptists. Guy wrote a family history of the family's move from Athens, Texas, to Eldorado, Oklahoma. He described howling wolves, roiling river, rough dirt roads, blowing dirt, gyp water.
