Grace Winifred Pierson
I have an old studio photograph of Gracie W. PIERSON which was taken at the T. Naughton Studio in Champaign, IL on 12 Sept 1873 when she was just 16 months old. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Gracie and her family:

Grace “Gracie” Winifred PIERSON was b. 17 May 1872 in Champaign County IL to parents Charles PIERSON (1831-1900) and Martha “Mattie” J. CARPENTER (1837-1931) who were married 10 Feb 1859 in McLean County, IL. Gracie had only one sibling, a sister Carrie B. PIERSON (b. 1859). Gracie worked as a private secretary to various Wabash Railroad Division Superintendents in Moberly, MO and Decatur, IL and was well known in the railroad community. Gracie died 3 Sept 1946 in Decatur, IL and she is buried in the Fairlawn Cemetery in Decatur. Her obituary indicates that she was survived only by a nephew, Howard RUDD of Chicago, IL.

I’d like to get the photograph to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
