Grave of Cynthia Queen White
Cynthia Queen White, b. 1861 in Mitchell Co, NC, daughter of Meredith Queen and Sarah (Sally)Mode. Married Joe (Joseph)White in Cocke Co, TN in 1878. She died in 1944. Cynthia's mother, Sarah (Sally) Mode was first married to Meredith Queen who died in Civil War. Sarah married Peter J. Newton in NC in 1869. They moved to Cocke Co, TN abt. 1878. Peter was living with son Jacob in TN in 1900, listed as married but Have not been able to locate Sarah. Sources indicate she died in 1911 - but where - also had Queen son named William Monroe.
Date & Place: at Rains Cemetery in Middlesboro, Bell County, Kentucky USA

Joseph and Cynthia Queen White are buried in the Raines Cemetery in Middlesboro, KY. Also buried here is their daughter, Lucy Williamson and Cynthia's brother, William Monroe.
