Hannah Jane Curtis Cassady
I have an old studio photograph of Jennie CURTIS who is identified as the sister of William CASSADY. The photograph was taken at the Cook Studio in Boston, MA. The photograph was likely taken in the 1880's with Jennie appearing to be in her 20's at the time the photograph was taken.

Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Jennie and her family:

Hannah Jane “Jennie” CASSIDY or CASSADY CURTIS was b. Nov 1859 or 1861 in Chatham, New Brunswick, Canada to parents David CASSADY (1825 or 1826-1901 or 1913) and Hannah Annetta or Ann VYE (1830-1913). Jennie was one of 7 children born to this couple including George; Jennie; William Henderson; James McDonald; David; Charles; and Moody CASSADY, all born between 1851 and 1877.

Jennie married William H. CURTIS (1860-1894) on 7 Jun 1882 in Newton, MA. The couple had one child, a son Walter Leland CURTIS (1883-1903). Jennie died 19 Feb 1887 and is buried in the Wayside Cemetery in West Paris, ME.

I am hoping to get this photograph to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
