Harry Pearle Hammond
I have an old studio photograph of Harry HAMMOND of Concord, NH which was taken at the S. A. Gurdjian Studio in New Hampton, NH. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1870’s with Harry likely about 3-6 years old at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Harry and his family:

Harry Pearle HAMMOND was b. 31 Mar 1867 in East Concord, NH to parents Isaac Ware HAMMOND (1831-1890) and Martha Ann Washington KIMBALL (1836-1906). Harry was one of 5 children born to this couple including Harry Pearle; Otis Grant; Winthrop Channing; Arthur Howard; and Clarence Everett HAMMOND, all born between 1867 and 1873. Harry married Emily “Emma” Inez CASWELL CLAPP (1880-1973) on 14 Jul 1923 in Concord, NH. It doesn’t appear that they had any children together, though his wife Emma had two sons from a previous marriage including Richard C. CLAPP and Horace E. CLAPP.

Harry died 3 Apr 1955 in Concord, NH and is buried in the Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord, NH.

I’d like to get the photograph to family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
