She was in a relationship with Aubrey Freeman Duncan, and had children Connie Lynn (Duncan) Ruedlinger, Larry Duncan, and Sandra Duncan. Hazel Duncan died at age 81 years old on August 7, 1999 in North Vernon, IN, and was buried in 1999 at Crown Hill Funeral Home and Cemetery 700 38th St, in Indianapolis, Marion County.
