Henry Charles WHITE

I have in my possession an old photograph of H. C. WHITE of Vernon, NY who was born 1 Sept 1856 which was taken at the Warren's Studio in Boston, MA. It appears from the notes on the back of the photograph that he was also a student at the Phillips Exeter Academy. I believe that this is a photograph of Henry Charles WHITE.

Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Henry and his family:

Henry Charles WHITE was b. 1 Sept 1856 in Utica, NY to Thomas Broughton WHITE (1805-1861) and Catherine Lydia STEWART or STEWARD (1835-1863). Henry was one of four children born to this couple including Thomas Broughton Jr.; Henry Charles; Caroline Stewart; and Theodore Barton WHITE, all born between 1855 and 1861. His father had a previous marriage and had four additional children including Amelia; Burchard; James S.; and Jabez Burchard WHITE, all born between 1829 and 1842.

Henry married Lucy Sophia SCHWAB (1863-1927) on 5 May 1903 in New Haven, CT. Henry died 7 Feb 1914 in New Haven, CT and is buried in the Grove Street Cemetery in New Haven, CT.
