Jackie Robinson

Jackie Robinson was born on January 31, 1919, in Cairo, Georgia, and grew up in Pasadena, California. Despite facing discrimination and racial prejudice throughout his life, Robinson excelled in multiple sports and eventually earned a scholarship to attend UCLA.
