James Jacob Dillingham

I have an old studio photograph of J. J. DILLINGHAM of Enid, Oklahoma Territory. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's or early 1900's with J. J. likely in his teens or 20's at the time. I believe that this is a photograph of James J. DILLINGHAM and with limited research have gathered the following information regarding James and his family:

James Jacob DILLINGHAM was b. 13 Mar 1880 in Warren County, KY to parents John Warren or Warrener DILLINGHAM (1841-1906) and Emily Frances PEDIGO (1844-1941) who were married 17 Mar 1863 in Warren County, KY. James was one of 7 children born to this couple including William “Willie” D.; Elizabeth “Lizzie” Catherine; Alonzo “Lonzo” V.; Charles “Charley” Burton; Willis Elmer; Frank Warren; and James Jacob DILLINGHAM, all born between 1864 and 1880.

James married Forest or Forrest Adeline BOYD (1885-1972) on 25 Dec 1901 in Enid City, OK and they had two sons including Tom Gay DILLINGHAM (1903-1968) and Frank Warren DILLINGHAM (1908-1996). James worked at the Oklahoma State Bank in Enid, OK and he died on 17 Jun 1932 in Cherokee, OK and is buried in the Enid Cemetery in Enid, OK.
