So Pacific Brakeman Loses His Life, Jim Lewis: 'I laid over Sunday in the Bluffs & 8pm the yardmaster got killed. I saw him where he got run over. I was talking to him before it happened. Riding a locomotive, it was necessary for him to turn a switch when struck by the engine tender & thrown upon the track & run over. His funeral will be under the auspices of the Odd Fellows Lodge at Sheridan.
