I have in my possession an old photograph of Jean Tarver MCCOY which I'd like to get to her family. The photograph was taken at the Arnold Studio when she was just 17 months old. There is no location included on the photograph, though I believe it was probably taken some time between 1915 and 1922. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Jean and her family:
Jean Tarver MCCOY was born 26 Dec 1916 in Monterey, CA to parents John Anderson MCCOY (1884-1969) and Bessie Belle SKEEN (1882-1980) who were married 18 Jul 1906 in Los Angeles Co., CA. Jane had two siblings, Velmabel or Velma Bell Dorris MCCOY (1907-1991) and John Wesley or Werley MCCOY (1911-1960). Jean married Raymond Earl WATKINS (1915-1974) and they had a daughter. Jean died 2 Jan 1988 in Monterey, CA.
I am hoping to see the photograph returned to her family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be please contact me.
