John Beamish was my Great Grandfather, Father of James Truman Beamish. He was born Nov 26, 1849 in Ontario, Canada. He married Louise Moore while in Canada in 1876. It was family history that they immigrated to Michigan with his brother Edward his wife and Louise's sister Anna Marie Moore Beamish from Ontario in a sleigh and when the snow was gone they traded their sleigh for a wagon and continued on to build a homestead in Shiawassee County Michigan. They went on to have seven children. He died in Owosso, Michigan March 11, 1934.
