John Edward Kern

I have an old studio photograph of Ed KERN which was taken at the W. N. Brenner Studio in Bucyrus, OH sometime in the 1890's. Ed appears to be in his 30's at the time the photograph was taken. I believe that this is a photograph of John Edward "Ed" KERN and based on limited research I have gathered the following information regarding Ed and his family:

John Edward “Ed” KERN was b. 1 or 22 July 1860 or 1861 in Bucyrus, OH to parents John or Johann Frederick or Friedrich KERN (1835-1897) and Caroline RIESER or REISER (1841-1935). Ed was one of 11 children born to this couple including John Edward “Ed”; George Frederick; Clara Catharine; Laura Johanna; Caroline “Carrie” Louise; Sophia “Sophie” Mary; Caroline Elizabeth; Jacob Francis; Anna “Annie” E. G.; Charles William; and Mildred Anita KERN, all born between 1861 and 1885. Ed died 16 Apr 1929 in Cleveland, OH and is buried in the Oakwood Cemetery in Bucyrus, OH.
