Obituary
Leatrice Perkins Mizell, 86, peacefully left this world on August 9, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband Oris "Red" Mizell, daughter June Arden Renfrow, father Cabal Perkins, mother Janie P. Green, step-father, Alfred Green, brothers Cecil Perkins, Crafton Perkins and Lankford Perkins, sisters Iris P. Granger, Arlene P. Grimes, Joyce Ann Perkins and Patricia P. Caywood. Survivors include her sister Betty P. MacPherson of Portsmouth, VA., sons Timothy Renfrow (and wife Millie) of San Diego, CA., and David Renfrow of Phoenix AZ., grandsons Kelly and Leathon and many nephews and nieces. Lea and Red had a great love for traveling. Red's 30 year career in the Air Force took them to many exotic places such as Hawaii and Okinawa. They were also stationed in Texas and Florida. After retirement, their love for traveling continued by plane, automobile, and cruise ships to many interesting places. Lea made wonderful friends everywhere she went. She had a sparkling personality that lit up any room that she walked into and brought a smile to the face of everyone that she ever encountered. The family would like to express special appreciation to all her friends for their compassion and dedicated support.....She will be truly missed. Burial will be at a later date in Quantico Veterans Cemetery, Quantico, VA In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Court Street Baptist Church or a charity of choice. www.SturtevantFuneralHome.com
