Katherine E. Connellan--U.S., City Directories, 1822-1995(1915)

Katherine E Connellan was born in March 1882 in Portland, Cumberland County, Maine United States to Honora (Hehir) Connellan and Michael Charles Connellan, and had siblings Anne Theresa Connellan, Mary E. (Connellan) Gulliver, Margaret Gertrude Connellan, Agnes Bernadette Connellan, Eleanor Loretto Connellan, Frances Irene (Connellan) McGraw, James J Connellan, and Annie Connellan. Katherine Connellan died at age 52 years old on March 16, 1935 in Portland, and was buried at Calvary Cemetery 1461 Broadway, in South Portland.

Published in the Portland Press Herald on September 11, 1951. Miss Margaret G. Connellan, a lifelong resident of Portland, died in her home at 85 State Street Monday after a long illness. She was born here, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael C. Connellan and was a graduate of St. Elizabeth's Academy. For many years she was secretary to the attorney for the Canadian National Railways. She leaves three sisters, the Misses Anne and Eleanor Connell van and Mrs. Francis McGraw, all of Portland; a brother, James Connellan, Rockland postmaster, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Wednesday morning with a High Mass of Requiem in St. Dominic's Church at 9 AM.

Michael Charles Connellan was born on July 20, 1839 in CE Ireland to James Connellan and Margaret (Mullins) Connellan, and had siblings James Connellan, John Connellan, and Patrick J. Connellan. He married Honora (Hehir) Connellan on May 8, 1972 in Portland, Cumberland County, Maine United States, and they were married until Michael's death on October 25, 1913. Michael Connellan had children Mary E. (Connellan) Gulliver, Margaret Gertrude Connellan, Annie Connellan, Anne Theresa Connellan, Agnes Bernadette Connellan, Katherine E Connellan, Eleanor Loretto Connellan, Frances Irene (Connellan) McGraw, and James J Connellan.
