Kevar Bain - Crime Stoppers

Kevar Ontell Bain was a carpenter who married Stacey-Ann Maria Kendra Jones on June 20th, 2000 in Miami-Dade County, Florida. They resided in Miami and Miramar, Florida, and had two children together. On March 8th, 2011, Kevar Bain and Andrae Charviez "Drae" Lowe were found murdered in the backyard of an abandoned house in the Little Haiti neighborhood shortly after midnight. Their severely beaten and gunshot bodies were discovered by a young boy in the Liberty City neighborhood. The previous day, on March 7th, 2011, Kevar and Andrae were at an IHOP restaurant when they were kidnapped and taken to an abandoned house where they were bound, beaten, and then executed. The only evidence available was a neighbor who witnessed a dark gold vehicle pull up near the abandoned house, and five minutes later heard gunshots. According to their families, a friend was giving both victims a ride to cash false US treasury checks. The friend later went to the police station after being called by detectives, and gave a story about how "Drae" needed $1,500 to pay his rent. Kevar's murder was profiled in Season 1 Episode 14 "Caught in the Middle" (2011) of the TV show "The First 48". As of the beginning of 2023, there have been no updates about the case, and no suspects have been identified or arrested.
