Laura Teeter Bertels
I have an old studio photograph of Laura TEETER BERTELS which was taken in the 1890's. Laura appears to be in her teens at the time the photograph was taken. There is no location of photographer identified on the photograph. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Laura and her family:
Laura Ethel TEETER was b. 16 Jun 1876 in Monroe County, PA to parents Henry Hartung TEETER (1832-1911) and Sarah M. LESH (1841-1911) who were married in 1866. Laura had two siblings including Charles Howard TEETER (1873-1952) and Martha Miriam TEETER (1884-1976). Laura married Alfred Milan BERTELS (1873-1953) on 30 Dec 1896 or 1 Jan 1897 in East Stroudsburg, PA and Laura died on 4 Feb 1904 in Beach Lake, PA.
