LANG - Leo R. age 62 of Toms River N.J. On Thursday, Nov. 3, 1994, Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Dahms). Beloved Father to Albin, Eric, Mrs. Rosemarie Garrison, and Miss Krista Lang, Loving Brother of Edward and Mrs. Terry Twist. Grandfather of three, Great-grandfather of two. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Toms River. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown, N.J. Friends may call Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, N.J. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Pittsburgh Transplantation Institute, Falk Clinic, 3601 5th Ave., Pittsburgh, Pa, 15213

Leo R Lang of Toms River, Ocean County, NJ was born on April 5, 1932 in Jersey City, Hudson County to August Prosper Lang and Mary Jean Lang. He had a sister Theresa (Lang) Twist. Leo was baptized in 1932. He married Maria Lang in Germany. They had children Rosemarie (Lang) Garrison and Albin Lang. He also married Patricia Lang, and they were married until Leo's death on November 3, 1994. They had children Eric Raymond Lang and Krista Lee Lang.

My grandmother Marian Joyce (Benning) Kroetch always wanted to meet her great-grandchildren, but she died just a handful of years before my son's birth. My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.
