Leona Frances O'Connell Murphy

I have an old studio photograph of Leona O'CONNELL of South Dakota which was taken at the J. M. Munson Studio in Madison, SD. Leona appears to be about one year old at the time the photograph was taken some time in the early 1900's. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Leona and her family:

Leona Frances O’CONNELL was b. 19 Aug 1900 in Orland, SD to parents Daniel O’CONNELL (b. 1861) and Anna “Annie” Miria or Maria or Marie MCDONNELL or MCDOWELL (1871-1943) who were married 29 Dec 1891 in Madison County, SD. Leona was one of 11 children born to this couple including Mary Agnes; Jane S.; Loraine Jane; Anna or Anne Kathryn or Katherine; Leona Frances; Joseph Michael; Margaret; Daniel Matthew; Leonard J.; John “Jack” William; and Richard Eugene O’CONNELL, all born between 1892 and 1916. Leona married Mr. MURPHY and she died 14 Aug 2001 in San Francisco, CA.

I am hoping to locate someone from Leona’s family so that the photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me.
