Leroy Byron Patchin
I have an old studio photograph of Roye PATCHIN which was taken at the B. Breslow Studio in Clayton, NY. The photograph is dated 26 Aug 1888 with Roye appearing to be about four years old at the time the photo was taken. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Roye and his family:

Leroy “Roye” or “Roy” Byron PATCHIN was b. 4 Aug 1885 in Watertown, NY to parents George H. PATCHIN (1862-1938) and Laura Matelda or Matilda CAREY or CARY (1864-1889). Roye had two siblings, sisters Elizabeth and Alma PATCHIN both born and died in 1889. After their mother died his father remarried and four additional children were born including James Lun; Fred Clifford; Lorenzo William; and Ralph L. PATCHIN or PATCHEN, all born between 1894 and 1902.

Roye married Sarah or Sara STEPHENSON or STEVENSON (1886-1923) on 29 Sept 1913 in Newton, MA and they had three children including Laura Elizabeth PATCHIN (1916-1987); George Aron or Aaron PATCHIN BASS (1918-1992); and Leroy “Roy” Byron BASS (1921-2002). Roye died 21 Dec 1941 in Clayton, NY and is buried in the St. Lawrence Union Cemetery in Cape Vincent, NY. I have no idea regarding the BASS surname, but I found it referenced in multiple trees.

I would like to get this photograph to a family member and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
