Lillian A Kneas Millen
I have an old studio photograph of Lillian KNEAS of Ashley, PA which was taken at the New York Portrait Co. Studio in White Haven, PA in August to honor her "Sweet 16". She is identified as born in 1874, so the photograph appears to have been taken in 1890. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Lillian and her family:

Lillian “Lillie” Agnes KNEAS was b. abt 1875 in Pennsylvania and was living in Ashley, PA in 1890. Lillie married James C. MILLEN (b. 1873) on 15 Jan 1896 in Phillipsburg, NJ and they had three children including Mildred or Miltilda K.; David Elwood; and James Frederick MILLEN, all born between 1902 and 1916.

I am hoping to locate someone from Lillie’s family so that the photograph can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me.

Thanks,
Shelley
Date & Place: at New York Portrait Co. Studio in New Haven, PA in Ashley, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania 18706, United States
