Lucile Hewitt Latimer
I have an old studio photograph identified as Lucile LATIMER which was taken at the Arcade Studios, Cushman Artist in Springfield, OH. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with Lucile likely in her teens or 20's at the time it was taken. I believe that this may be a photograph of Lucy C. HEWITT LATIMER and based on limited research have gathered the following information regarding Lucile and her family:

Lucy HEWITT was b. 14 Jul 1869 in Woodstock, OH to parents Nicholas Pease HEWITT (1832-1901) and Lucy Lucinda CUSHMAN (1842-1893). Lucy was one of 7 children born to this couple including Anna “Annie” May; Warren Cushman; Lucy; Nellie E.; Lena Almira; Georgiana or Georga; and Susie HEWITT, all born between 1863 and 1882. Lucy married Wilber E. LATTIMER (1862-1903) on 7 Oct 1894 in Champaign County, OH and they had two children including Fauntobelle or Florabelle LATTIMER CREVISTON (1895-1981) and Wilber Lawrence LATTIMER (1903-1920).

Lucy died 8 Jan or Jun 1927 in Columbus, OH and she is buried in the Woodstock Cemetery in Woodstock, OH.

I would like to get this photograph to Lucy’s family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

Thanks,
Shelley
