Mell McGreevy
Mell Mcgreevy was born to parents Edward Mcgreevy (1865-1947) and Elizabeth "Betty" Miller (born 1868) in 1896. He had siblings Clifford (1894-1980), Brice (born 1898), Burk (1901-1958), Douglas (1907-1952), and Dora Mae Mcgreevy (born 1909). Mell McGreevy from Port Arthur served in the 28th Inf. Div. in WWI, and lost a lung to German gas at the 2nd Battle of the Marne, but survived and took up residence in Houston until his death. He is buried in the Houston National Cemetery.
