A photo of Mrs. Mayhugh and Bessie, April 4, 1906, at 2:30 AM, Zachariah Thomas Mackey Hargis found a baby on his door step. In this post card Bessie had recently turned 5 years old (or as best anyone could know). She must have been taken in by Mrs Mayhugh or Mayhew, and Zack was remembering in a letter to his sister Nancy Jane Hargis Haight.in Littleton, Colorado
