NC Grant in TN. Territory - 1789
NC Land grant # 273 based on land warrant # 2522. Per State Library, Richardson Henderson left in an estate some 200,000 acres of land and one of the heirs to this land was William Johnston who had a daughter named Amelia and she married Walter Alves.
The old Curd Cox farm in north Knox County, TN. was purchased from this same Walter Alves after the turn of the century. DCox-Halls Crossroads
