Norman Hills Stateman was born on January 10, 1922 in New Jersey to parents Charles Joseph Stateman (1881-1950) and Hester R Robbins (1885-1925). He had siblings Charles, Alice Priscillia, Lillian Elizabeth, and Ernest Stateman. He lived in Metuchen, Middlesex, New Jersey, USA and Belmont, North Carolina, USA. Norman enlisted on October 20, 1942 in Newark New Jersey. Norman was married to Ella Jean Page (1920-1987) and they had children together.
