Othar B. Vallance
Othar B. "Poker" Vallance, born 12 October 1913 at Plaska, Hall County Texas and died 1 November 1995 in Taylor County Texas. He was the son of the late Henry Green Vallance and Anna Jennettie Pearl Yount Vallance of Plaska, Hall County Texas. He married Elise Eva Stanford 12 August 1930 in Memphis, Hall County Texas. They were the parents of two sons. Oather was a farmer and owned and operated a farm near Littlefield and Spade Texas for many years. After his retirement, he sold the farm and moved to Anson to be near the parents of Elise. Othar and Elise are buried in Fairview Cemetery, Jones County, near Anson, Texas. They are buried in the Stanford family plot with the parents of Elise. This submitter was a nephew to Othar and Elise and loved them very much.
