Paul Adolph Medina was born on August 15, 1945 in Ventura, CA to parents Adolph Perez Medina (1906-1978) and Lucille Arellanes Medina (1917-1987). He had siblings Esther Marie Medina (1938-1943), Hortense Frances Medina Johnson (1939-1999), Adolph Medina (1940-1940), and Linda Virginia Medina Lara (1943-2008).
He lived in Ventura and attended Adolfo Camarillo High School in Camarillo, California, USA. In school he was part of the tennis and baseball teams.
Paul was also in a band.
