Phoebe Ann Brokaw was born in Morris Township, Knox County, Ohio and died Sep 22, 1935 in Manilla, Crawford County, Iowa. She married Francis William Lambert in Ohio on Mar 10, 1859. In 1865, they moved to Illinois, then on to Newton, Jasper County, Iowa two years later, where they lived on a farm for 26 years. Around 1895, they moved to Manilla, Crawford County, Iowa.
