My great grandfather was born Klas Alfred Andersson and became Claus Alfred Hadlund upon emigrating to the US. His brothers were Gustave Andersson and Karl Anton Andersson. They became Edward Hedlund and Carl A. Lindquist respectively. Claus married Mathilda Sofia Johansdotter Sandberg. Her brothers were Carl Johansson, Alfred Claus Johansson, and Adolf Johansson. Alfred and Carl adopted the name Sandberg and Adolf adopted Rosen.

So while she didn't have the opportunity to meet him, at least he will be able to know her. For more information about what we're building see About AncientFaces.
