Robert “Bobby” Holbrooks, 65, of 2809 Burson Rd, Anderson, SC, passed away on Tuesday January 13, 2015 at his home.

Born in Westminster, SC, he was the son of the late Cortez L. and Inez Head Holbrooks. He attended Middleton Road Baptist Church and Gethsemane Baptist Church and was retired as the owner and operator of Holbrooks Plumbing. He also served in the US Army Reserves.

He is survived by his sons: Richard “Ricky” Lawrence Holbrooks (Tracy) and Randy Reese Holbrooks (Beth), Brothers; Dan and Tim Holbrooks, Sisters; Odean H. Black (Roy), Beverly H. Wood (Terry) and Karen H. Williams, grandchildren; Noel Holbrooks Beasey and Nickie, Cheyenne and Olivia Holbrooks, as well as great-grandchildren; Liam and Beckam Beasey.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers; Melvin and Kent Holbrooks.

Funeral services will be held at 4pm Thursday January 15, 2015 at the Sosebee Mortuary South Chapel and will be officiated by Pastor Butch Moore, Preacher Gary Bill and Rev. Sam Duncan. The family will receive friends from 2pm to 4pm prior to the service, Thursday at the mortuary.

The family will be at the home.
