Robert Frank Bowe

I have an old studio photograph of R. F. BOWE which was taken at the Augusta Photo Company Studios in Augusta, GA sometime in the 1880's. The young man in the photograph appears to be about 6 years old at the time the photograph was taken. I believe that this is a photograph of Robert Frank BOWE, and I was able to gather the following information regarding Robert and his family:

Robert Frank BOWE was b. 30 Mar 1884 in Augusta, GA or Lexington, SC to parents William Fairbanks BOWE (b. 1855) and Dorathea or Dorothea Auguste MARKWALTER (1859-1929) who were married on 23 Nov 1882 in Richmond County, GA. Robert had two siblings including William Fairbanks BOWE Jr. (b. 1891) and Auguste Erdman BOWE (b. 1893). Robert married Lucille or Lucile “Lucy” Cecelia EFIRD (1885-1967) on 19 Oct 1910 at St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Lexington, SC. Robert died 27 Feb 1962 in Augusta, GA or Lexington, SC and is buried in the St. Stephens Church Cemetery in Lexington, SC.
