ROBERT MILAM WEST (1861-1900) Born: 15 Sep 1861 in Richmond/Needville, Ft Bend County, Texas on his father's homestead. Died: 09 Aug 1900 in either Blanco, Blanco, Texas or Caldwell County, Texas and removed for burial to the TEAS Family Cemetery (private property south of Lockhart, Caldwell county, Texas)Parents: PETER LAWLEY WEST and VIRENA CLEMENTINE GILL (daughter of ROBERT JAMES GILL & ELIZABETH ANN CHERRY). Married: JIMMIE TEAS on July 6, 1898 (RE:Vol. I, Page 426 Caldwell Co. Texas)(Jimmie Teas was daughter of JESSE THOMAS TEAS & SARAH JANE CAGE - who both also buried in TEAS Family Cemetery). Robert Milam West & Jimmie Teas only had one child (Daughter) before he died, being my grandmother: MYRTIS EMMA WEST (born July 28, 1899 in Blanco, Blanco, Texas)who married MANCEL ELBERT SHELTON on January 1, 1919 in Caldwell County, Texas (my mother, MILDRED ELBERT SHELTON was one of the children of this marriage - my mother married LYNN PAUL LEHMANN and I am the only child of their marriage).
