News article from the Hooker, OK newspaper regarding death of Boss Neff. Boss Neff was the son of Jacob Neff (8-9-1805-3-25-1874) m. Margaret Wampler on 9-25-1860. Jacob was born in Franklin Co. VA and is buried in Lewisburg OH. Sebastian Neff (Boss) was born on a farm near Lewisburg, Preble Co.OH on 3-15-1866. He later moved to Oklahoma and is listed there in many historic articles. Boss's father Jacob is the son of Abraham Naff(Neff) b. 2-22-1758 - 1813 m. in Franklin Co. PA to Katy Saylor, sister of Mary Saylor who married Sebastian Naff, brother of Jacob Naff, Sr. Abraham died in Montgomery Co. OH buried near Winchester, Preble Co. OH.
Abraham Naff is a brother to my Catherine Naff who married John Moyers(Myers) 2-7-1797 in Franklin Co. VA and who later moved to Montgomery Co. OH in 1816. They lived near Farmersville or Tom's Run near Miamisburg OH. Later moved to Jackson Twp., Fayette Co. IN about 1832-34. They are my gr-gr-gr-gr-grandparents and buried in Brumfiel Cemetery in Fayette Co. IN. (more information available)
