September 25 1995 Automobile Accident

Two people were killed and one hurt when a car slammed into a utility pole in Pottstown about 2:30 a.m. yesterday. Police said Dawn Kropp, 25, of Pottstown, was driving south on Farmington Avenue when she lost control of her 1991 Camaro. She and passenger Brian Nagy, 22, of Stowe, were killed. Passenger Mark Ludwig, 27, of Pottstown, was in fair condition yesterday at Brandywine Hospital.

Brian Andrew Nagy was born to Robert (1942-2012) and Martha M. (Suchoza) Nagy (1942-2021) and had four brothers including Robert Scott Nagy (1963-2020), Todd, Michael and Mark A. Nagy who was born in 1970 and passed away in 1971. An avid football fan who graduated from Pottsgrove High School and worked at the Doehler Jarvis Company in Stowe, he sadly lost his life along with Dawn Kropp in September 1995 during an automobile accident. My father's side is full blood Sicilian and my mother's side is a combination of Welsh, Scottish, German and a few other European cultures. One of my more colorful (ahem black sheep) family members came over on the Mayflower. He was among the first to be hanged in the New World for a criminal offense he made while onboard the ship.
