T/Sgt Weldon Lacy Is Reported Dead
Mr. & Mrs Tom T. Lacy were notified Tuesday that their son, Technical Sgt. Thomas Weldon Lacy was dead. He was a tail gunner on a B-29 Superfortress and had been reported missing since the first daylight raid on Japan August 20, All the information available will be sent the family by letter, it said.
He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Lt. Doris Lacy, with the Army Nurses Corps in New Guinea, and Mrs. George Etheredge who is here with her parents; and one brother, Charles Lacy.
