Siegrist Women
Thought to be Siegrist women. Picture was believed to have been taken on the front porch of John Henry Siegrist home, located on west Blanchard Road, South Hutchinson, Reno Co., Kansas, date unknown, but before about 1935. The lady on the far left, in front of the window is beleived to be Hazel Urdine Glass, who was married to Alpha George Siegrist, August 8, 1906. It is thought that two others who might be in this picture are Mary Elizabeth Siegrist (b. 19 OCT 1854 - d. 17 SEP 1945) who married George LeRoy Spangenberger, Feburary 4, 1875 and Anna Marie Siegrist (b. 9 MAR 1872 - d. Mar 1950) who married John Claude Epperson, November 6, 1890. If anyone knows for sure anyone in this picture we sure would enjoy hearing from you. This picture from Margaret Louise O'Hara collection.

The mystery is: Who are these women and Why is there no men in the picture? If it was a family reunion, you would tink there would have been some men folks around?
People in photo include: Hazel Urdine Glass, Anna Marie Siegrist, and Mary Elizabeth Siegrist
Date & Place: at Siegrist Home in Reno County, Kansas USA

Hi! My name is Jacqueline Sigrist. I am a decendent of David C. Walters and Rachel/Regina Schurr. 2 of their children, Mary Louise and Catherine married members of my family. Mary Louise married my great, great, great grandfather, Philip Sigrist. Catherine married Philip's older bother, John J. (Philip and John also had a sister, Emma/Ema/Emmaline.)
My great grandfather was James Taylor (J.T.) Sigrist. He died in late 50's early 60's. He married Hazel Fern Jackson. My grandfather is James Raphel (J.R.) Sigrist. He is still lving, and is married to my grandmother, also still living Audrey Melvina Temple. I don't know much about the Temple side. I think grandmas' father was Ivan Temple. Lovella Carr was my great grandmother on my dad's side. They called her Lovie! My father is Jackie (Jack) Dean Sigrist. Also still living. J.R. had 2 brothers and a sister, I think. I know grandma Audrey had a brother named Ivan as well. I think she had more than one and perhaps some sisters. If this sounds like it might fit into your family, please let me know!

Best Regards,
Jaci Sigrist
