Fanny M. (Janssen) Roos, was born September 25, 1896, southeast of Syracuse, Nebraska.
She married Theodore Roos on October 12, 1916. Together they lived on the family farm southwest of Dunbar, Nebraska and later moved to a farm west of the Delaware Church (Nebraska). They retired in 1946 and moved to Syracuse.
Following the death of her husband in 1958, She did baby sitting and worked for many years at Community Memorial Hospital in Syracuse.
She was a member of First Lutheran Church, Syracuse, sang in the choir and was treasurer of the Dorcas Society for many years, until the church closed . She the became a member of Luther Memorial Church (Syracuse) and was an active member of the quilters group until her health failed.
