Thomas Wager- Cathedral Latin School

Thomas Philip Wager is the son of Floyd Roger Wager (1891-1964) and Mary Ruth James (1892-1977). He was born on May 13, 1921 in Cleveland, Ohio, United States and had siblings Virginia Mary Wager (1917-2008), James Robert Wager (1919-2000), and Dorothy Anne Wager (1927-2000). He lived in Shaker Heights, Cuyahoga, Ohio, USA and Cleveland Heights, Cuyahoga, Ohio. Thomas registered for the draft on February 15, 1942, in Cleveland Heights, Ohio at the age of 20. He was working for the Cleveland Slag Co. On August 25, 1942, Thomas P. Wager enlisted in the Army in Cleveland, Ohio. He was assigned to the Branch Immaterial - Warrant Officers, USA and was sent for basic training, and his enlistment branch was the Army. After his basic training, Thomas Phillip Wager served in the Army for almost four years, from September 8, 1942, to June 23, 1946. He attained the rank of Private and was a part of the Selectees (Enlisted Men) component. After his time in the military, he married Jeannette Phyllis Edwards (1920–1992) on September 12, 1953 in Winter Park, Florida, USA.
