Tom and Inez HARRALL with daughter Leota Grace HARRALL
I have in my possession an old photograph of Leota Grace HARRALL and her parents Inez and Tom which was taken 5 Oct 1918 when Leota was 1 year and 19 days old. The photograph was a gift to "Aunt Stella and Uncle Joe". Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding this family:
Inez E. RHEAM was born 12 Oct 1901 in Missouri to parents Floyd King David RHEAM (1869-1926) and Grace Lucina or Lucinda DEMOSS (1881-1949) who were married 10 Jun 1900 in Osceola, MO. Inez was one of 10 children born to this couple including Inez E.; Leonard William; Arnold F.; Marion Arnold; Howard Nelson; Alvin Daniel; Juanita Floyd; Lois E.; Marie Evadine or Evadene; and Glenice N. RHEAM, all born between 1901 and 1923. Inez married James Thomas HARRALL (1892-1942) and they had 5 children including Leota G.; Wilma Laverne or La Verne; Ivan Roy; Hazel Pauline; and Imogene “Imo” Ruth HARRALL, all born between 1917 and 1936. Inez died in Apr 1977 in Joplin, MO and is buried in the Anderson Cemetery in Anderson, MO.
Her husband James Thomas “Tom” HARRALL or HARRAL was b. 30 Aug 1892 in Bentonville, AR to William Franklin HARRALL (1852-1898 or 1899) and Allice or Alice “Alia” BLEVINS (1862-1914). Tom was one of 6 children born to this couple including Lorna J.; Charlotti or Charlotte “Lottie” Florence; William Walter; Mary A.; Hattie M.; and James Thomas “Tom” HARRALL, all born between 1880 and 1892. Tom died 27 Jul 1942 in McDonald Co., MO and is also buried in the Anderson Cemetery in Anderson, MO.
Their daughter Leota “Lee” Grace HARRALL was b. 16 Sept 1917 in McDonald Co., MO and was married twice, first to Jess or Jesse Jack Dave or David SALYERS (1914-1942) on 28 Apr 1937 in Joplin, MO and they had a son, Larry Gene SALYERS (1938-2015). Her second marriage was to William George GREENSLADE (1922-1995) on 8 Mar 1947 in Jasper Co., MO. Lee died 29 Nov 1986 in Joplin, MO and is buried in the Osborne Memorial Cemetery in Joplin, MO.
I am hoping to locate someone from this family so that the photograph can be returned to their care. If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley
